Take a stroll down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland - the grandest street in the city. It runs between the castle and Holyrood Palace. But under all this fancy stuff is actually the remains of the old city "closes". You can go down and tour one of them (Mary King's Close), although the Real Mary King's Close tour is really overpriced and a little silly. You can still see lots of other 'closes' that have...
